RIP: Literary Icon Chinua Achebe Dies At 82 – Things Has Fallen Apart

Professor Albert Chinualumogu Achebe, the novelist, poet, critic and elder statesman died yesterday at the ripe age of 82 (16 Nov. 1930 – 21 March 2013). His first book, “Things Fall Apart”, is the most widely read book in modern African literature, he’s the author of several other books including the last one published before his death “There Was A Country” which sparked off a lot of controversy in Nigeria.

May he rest in peace.
